This is the Lt. watada I hope you have heard about. I went to U.S Army Basic Combat Training in June 1981. After about a week at the reception station we were sent to our training company. The first class we had was about illegal orders. This man was listening. I don't know that I could have stood up like he did against this awful mess, but I have got to say he has large brass balls. He did the right thing. Institutions like the Army have "honor" and "ceremony" and "tradition" to keep men like Lt. Watada from doing what he is doing.
